Psalm 138:1 says, “I will praise you O Lord with all my heart;” and that’s exactly what we did at the House of Rock last night!  The House of Rock is the new base of operations for Crosspoint Church, and last night we had our first service in the building.  It was totally raw; used the portable sound system, didn’t turn all the lights on, the floors aren’t done yet.  It was the most memorable, most compelling, most spiritual experience of my life.  I got to play with the band on stage, and I am so thankful to Kevin for giving me that opportunity.  Watching the people of Crosspoint worship so sincerely and so vulnerably brought me to tears as I stood there trying to play the keyboard.

The worship was amazing, the message awesome as usual, but nothing compared to the names.  For the past 6 weeks, we’ve asked people to write down the names of 10 friends/family/loved ones that do not yet know Jesus as their personal Savior.  The covering is not on the stage yet, and last night they were given the opportunity to write those names on the stage.  Some wept as they wrote their names.  Others came back time and time again as they thought of people that didn’t know Christ.  I had time to stop and think of two people I see everyday who do not know the Lord.  I wrote their names.  I also wrote this name:

This is my nephew.  He is 4 years old, and one day he will know Jesus as his personal Savior.

Livvie wrote her names too:

Her best friend, and her two cousins.  She has the sweetest heart of any child I know.

I want to let you know, if you came across this blog today, and you don’t know Jesus as your Savior, He yearns for a relationship with you.  Please email me at msjewelrylady@gmail.com, and I will talk with you about Jesus’s love for you, and help you understand what it means to receive salvation.  If you live in the Decatur, AL area and don’t have a home church, come visit us at Crosspoint.  It doesn’t matter what you wear or what you’ve done, Jesus loves you, and we will love you too.
